“I believe good manners never go out of style.” This is a personal mantra of Wanda Steiner, Director and President of In Good Company Etiquette Academy & Finishing School – Manitoba. In July 2017, Wanda purchased the license to offer Courtesy Coach Train the Trainer Certification programs throughout Manitoba as an affiliate of Civility Experts Worldwide.
Wanda and her team at the Winnipeg office will be offering a variety of social skills programs, classes, etiquette parties and private coaching for children and youth ages 5 – 20 years of age. She is also available for private coaching sessions for adults and families.
Coming from an entreprenurial background of over 25 years, Wanda recognizes and values the power good etiquette, proper manners and the ability to traverse the corporate environment with social competency attributed to her success. During the last 12 years, Wanda worked in the Executive Search industry as a Senior Consultant, then a Partner and finally as President of her own search firm, Steiner Search Group in 2011. Identifying and placing top talent in mid to senior roles created long standing relationships with candidates and corporate clients giving her a keen understanding of the need for respect, kindness and social skills which contribute to self-esteem, confidence and healthy relationships personally and professionally. She often says, “When in doubt, just be kind.” After trying retirement in 2016, Wanda found a desire to follow her passion of etiquette and pursue this new career.
Wanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Economics and Business Administration. She is also very involved in the fibre arts community and is a Canadian Quilters Association Certified Quilt Judge and has taught quilting for many years. Wanda has been an avid supporter of Siloam Mission for many years. She is also a candidate for Master Civility Trainer status through the International Civility Trainers` Consortium.
